Welcome to catvatelier.com (the "Site"), operated by Cat V. Atelier LLC ("Cat V. Atelier," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, placing an order, or booking a consultation, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. Use of the Site

You may use the Site to browse and purchase products, and to book appraisal, custom design, or consultation services. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when placing an order or booking a service
  • Use the Site only for lawful purposes
  • Not attempt to disrupt, hack, or interfere with the Site's operation or security

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your state of residence, to make a purchase on this Site. If you are under 18, you may use the Site only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Products and Pricing

  • We make every effort to display product colors, materials, and details accurately, but slight variations may occur due to the handmade or natural nature of gemstones and metals, and due to display/screen differences.
  • Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and are subject to change without notice. The price charged is the price shown at checkout.
  • We reserve the right to limit quantities, refuse any order, or cancel an order (e.g., in cases of a pricing error, suspected fraud, or unavailable inventory), with a full refund issued for any payment already collected.

4. Custom and Made-to-Order Pieces

Some items are custom-made, made-to-order, or produced in limited quantities. See our Return & Refund Policy for how this affects cancellations and returns.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including photographs, product designs, logos, text, and the "Cat V. Atelier" name and branding — is owned by Cat V. Atelier LLC or used with permission, and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use our content or product designs for commercial purposes without our written permission.

6. Appraisals, Custom Design, and Consultation Services

These services are scheduled through our third-party booking tool (Calendly) and are not purchased through Site checkout. Separate terms, pricing, and cancellation policies for these services will be communicated directly at the time of booking or in person.

7. Third-Party Services

The Site relies on third-party services to operate — including Squarespace (hosting/platform), Stripe (payments), and shipping carriers (UPS, FedEx, USPS). We are not responsible for outages, errors, or issues caused by these third parties, though we'll do our best to help resolve any issue affecting your order.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cat V. Atelier LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or purchase of our products, including but not limited to loss of use, data, or profits. Our total liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that item.

9. Jewelry Care and Natural Variation

Jewelry sold on this Site may include natural gemstones, hand-applied finishes, and precious metals that can vary piece to piece and change in appearance over time with wear. We are not responsible for damage resulting from normal wear, improper care, or failure to follow any care instructions provided.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Cobb County, Georgia.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
